Job Description
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and utilizing nursing expertise to ensure effective medical care and positive patient outcomes on a per diem basis. Under close supervision, this position involves working collaboratively with the healthcare team and consulting experienced medical professionals to address challenging circumstances to ensure excellent patient care during specified daily shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Aids in undertaking patient appraisals, check-ups, and therapies to contribute to comprehensive and personalized patient treatment every day.
- Assists in the scrutiny of patient data to direct healthcare selections, care schemes, and interventions.
- Supports in the implementation of recommended medical interventions and treatments to enforce adherence to guidelines and enhance patient safety.
- Supports the coordination of care and communication among different healthcare team members to advance patient outcomes.
- Seeks advice and input from experienced healthcare professionals on intricate patient cases and demanding medical situations to optimize patient care effectively.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:Required:
1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state;
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
