Job Description
The Nursing Technician - Sitter is responsible for working in various departments and units as needed. Under direct supervision this role assists nurses and medical staff in delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients.

The float pool within each hospital is specific to that location and is referred to as Campus Based. Similarly, the System Wide (SW) float pool is responsible for staffing needs across all hospitals and MedCenters situated in Greensboro, High Point, Burlington, and Reidsville.
By applying for this position, the recruiter will evaluate your passion, qualifications, and background to determine the more suitable option for you, either the Moses Cone Hospital Float Pool or the SW float pool. To be eligible for the SW float pool, candidates must be prepared to travel to all designated locations.
Please note - Our float pools are reserved for applicants with hospital/acute care experience. If you have less than 1 year of experience, please consider a singular unit.
Multiple shifts and scheduling options are up for grabs like:
- Daytime hours encompassing a full-time position from 7 in the morning until 7:30 in the evening, with rotations required on weekends
- The job requires availability for continuous night shifts from 7 in the evening until 7:30 in the morning, with weekend scheduling as well
- Position entails working on a part-time basis during the daytime from 7:00 in the morning until 7:30 in the evening, with weekend rotations as part of the workload
- There is a requirement for part-time weekend night duties scheduled from 7:00 pm until 7:30 am on Saturdays and Sundays

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
- Nurse Aid I, commonly known as NAI, pertains to healthcare professionals who support and assist nurses in their daily tasks
- One has the option of selecting either the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider for BLS training. These courses are designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. (2)
- A high school diploma or an equal qualification must be obtained
