Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering quality patient care and ensuring positive patient outcomes by applying nursing expertise with compassion and efficiency under general guidance. Essential Job Function:
- Reviews patient demands and health conditions in the designated unit to deliver nursing care, aiming to meet the distinct needs of each patient effectively.
- Evaluates patient information, encompassing medical background, test results, and existing condition, to establish tailored nursing care plans.
- Arranges nursing methodologies, including giving medications and therapies to ensure complete and successful patient care.
- Confirms the accuracy and regulatory compliance of medical records by conducting reconciliation processes.
- Evaluates patient reactions to treatments and pinpoints any supplementary interventions necessary to reach specified care goals.
- Collaborates with a cross-functional care team to optimize care strategy development.
- Undertakes other responsibilities as instructed.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
