Job Description
The AHEC Coordinator assesses the workforce and educational needs of healthcare professionals, students, and others to design, implement, and evaluate a wide range of educational programs and services across the Piedmont AHEC region. This role also collaborates on and leads initiatives within the broader NC AHEC program.
Essential Job Function
- Develops and directs educational programs that comply with accreditation standards, grant requirements, best practices, and the AHEC framework.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify educational needs and partnership opportunities to develop relevant programming and other solutions to address those needs.
- Assesses the impact of initiatives using evaluations, feedback, and outcome metrics to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Coordinates and leads other workforce development and other initiatives in alignment with the regional and statewide AHEC program.
- Engages in statewide and regional boards, task forces, and committees to advance and support the mission of the AHEC program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Master's Degree
Experience
- Required: 3 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Academic Coordinator licensure may be required.
