Job Description
Under moderate guidance, the Clinical Pharmacist III Ambulatory Retail Specialty performs patient care duties specific to their specialty area at an ambulatory or retail pharmacy. They collaborate with providers, pharmacy team members, and have the opportunity to manage patient advocates and pharmacy technicians.
Essential Job Function:
- - Comprehends and abides by the physician's guidance to administer appropriate care to the specified individual.
- Offers assistance in managing and overseeing drug consumption and medication-related data for healthcare professionals, patients, and society.
- Manages and appraises pharmacy technicians' work.
- Instructs learners and trainees.
- Works at an elevated level of understanding and proficiency, dealing extensively with challenging scenarios or concentrating on enhancing project quality.
- Executes tasks as instructed by superiors.
Education:
- Required: Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharm.
Experience:
- Required: 6 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Pharmacist in NC within 60 days of hire. BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider BCPS or Board Certification in a specialty area.
