Overview:
The Member Solutions Specialist's primary duties involve managing member transactions and monitoring cash registers to log financial alterations. With minimal oversight, this role contributes to the organization's everyday functions and reinforces relationships with potential and current members by delivering outstanding client support. The work hours for this role are from 7:15am-4:15pm., Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Encourages credit union products and services that align with member requirements recognized through interactions and stays informed about all credit union policies and offerings.
- Offers advice on interest rates, cross-promotes services, and helps customers in setting up new share accounts, share draft accounts, and certificates.
- Supports clients with the application process for Individual Retirement Accounts and Share Certificates, manages the setup of fresh account particulars, and facilitates the request for checks and debit cards.
- Handles cash drawer responsibilities, conducts member transactions, and manages wire transfers.
- Aiding members in completing account terminations, facilitating immediate loan disbursements, and arranging payroll distributions.
- Manages member concerns, rectifies account discrepancies, and ensures top-notch customer service is provided.
- Provides guidance to customers regarding closing their accounts, resolving account discrepancies and complaints, as well as processing quick cash loans and wire transactions.
- Carries out tasks beyond the specified duties.
