Overview:
A Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in lactation counseling is responsible for promoting breastfeeding programs, overseeing patient advancement, and following proven lactation techniques. In this position, individuals operate with limited guidance, overseeing assignments and operations within the lactation counseling team while offering guidance to the institution on breastfeeding assistance.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates breastfeeding assistance programs to guarantee they meet the requirements of both mother and child.
Develops educational resources to improve the results of breastfeeding.
Utilizes expertise in breastfeeding methods to offer guidance and assistance to both employees and individuals and their loved ones.
Seeks advice from senior executives as necessary to guarantee the efficiency of programs that support breastfeeding.
Oversees projects in the lactation team to ensure the success of breastfeeding initiatives and promote family-centered care.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
