Overview:
As an RN Float, you play a critical role in providing diverse nursing coverage across different units and departments. Your ability to work with interdisciplinary teams guarantees the quality and efficiency of patient care by allowing seamless transitions across varied clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
Possesses strong adaptability skills and can seamlessly transition between nursing units and departments, providing essential care and support in various medical scenarios.
Utilizes a team-based approach to work alongside interdisciplinary teams, doctors, and auxiliary staff to deliver individualized care and enhance communication among various units.
Carries out thorough analyses of patients' health situations and needs, developing care plans that are customized according to their specific diagnoses and medical backgrounds.
The immediate nursing care and assistance provided during emergencies and critical situations helps in the stabilization of patients.
Utilizes knowledge of bed allocation and capacity management to assist with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, ensuring that patients move through the healthcare system in a way that supports their needs and the needs of the facility.
Undertakes additional responsibilities as directed.
