Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to provide exceptional patient care and ensure successful patient outcomes by applying nursing knowledge with compassion and efficiency. Working under supervision, this role contributes to the promotion of professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and collaboration with a variety of healthcare disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Reviews patient needs and conditions within the assigned unit to ensure the provision of nursing care that addresses each patient's individual needs accurately.
Analyzes patient data, such as medical history, test findings, and current condition, to develop custom nursing care plans.
Delivers effective and comprehensive patient care through nursing procedures like medication administration and treatments.
Confirms the accuracy and regulatory compliance of medical records in line with organizational policies.
Evaluates patient responses to interventions and identifies any further interventions needed to achieve specific care goals.
Works collectively with a diverse care team to formulate comprehensive care plans for patients.
Completes other duties as instructed.
