Overview:
The key duty of this role is to provide exceptional patient care during all ultrasound procedures. You must be fully conversant with all aspects of these procedures, including all the relevant equipment
Responsibilities:
The regulations set by OSHA necessitates the proper disposal of hazardous materials
Upon arrival, the healthcare provider greets the patient and commences the ultrasound preparation process while simultaneously checking for all relevant information to ensure a successful screening.
Educates the patient and their family on how to effectively manage their medication regimen and follow treatment instructions
Contributes to the proper upkeep and analysis of patient records, meticulously reviewing and validating information as needed. Additionally, proficiently records test and examination data in patients' charts after physician confirmation
Respects the privacy of clients and exercises utmost caution while handling their confidential information
Takes responsibility for the procedure room's cleanliness and maintains an organized stock of all essential items. Ensures the availability of equipment and supplies by regularly monitoring the inventory.
Manages the flow of patients to ensure appointments are met on time
Oversees the booking of medical consultations for patients abroad and allocates priority appointments to emergency cases
The apparatus for conducting patient tests is set up

EXPERIENCE:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
ARDMS | Ultrasound Technologist
ARRT (S)- Sonographer
Must obtain Ultrasound certification from the ARDMS or the ARRT within one year of graduation from an ultrasound program AND Must at all times maintain Ultrasound certification from the ARDMS or ARRT
Must obtain NTQR (Nuchal Translucency Quality Review) certification within 45 days of hire
