Operating within a hospital, the LPN Hospital assists the Registered Nurse or healthcare professional in delivering quality patient care. This entails developing and executing care plans tailored to the specific hospital and preparing equipment for procedures within the hospital systems, closely supervised throughout.
Responsibilities:
Providing support to the care team entails the retrieval of patient history and medical details to facilitate the compilation of complete case documentation in hospital medical files.
Assists in devising and implementing care plans as directed by a Registered Nurse or healthcare professional to cater to the requirements of individuals receiving medical care in a hospital environment.
Verifies that the appropriate techniques and safety measures are upheld as per Cone Health protocols for maintaining sterility.
Provides healthcare advice to patients and families with the aim of delivering clear information about the treatment protocols.
Supports in responding to crises and safety concerns by employing personal protective equipment and hospital safety measures to prevent harm to patients.
Fulfills supplementary duties as needed.
