Overview:
The Patient Access Advocate Lead cooperates with the patient access team to foster a friendly setting for both internal and external clientele, maintaining precise and efficient operations in alignment with practice standards.
Responsibilities:
Acts as the initial point of reference for patients and guests upon arrival.
Supports in catering to the needs of both inside and outside customers in the office, aiming to create a favorable guest interaction and a hospitable work setting.
Examines amendments to registration within the Charge Review and Claim Edit queues promptly and adjusts as needed based on insurance understanding and guidelines.
Ensures the regular collection of qualifying copays and achieves a high rate of successful collections.
Manages patient sign-up procedures to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
Assists in the onboarding process for new department recruits and provides advice on matters such as payment verification and insurance inquiries.
Executes any other responsibilities as delegated.
