Overview:
The Triad Hospitalist role involves ensuring top-notch patient care within Cone Health facilities while also fulfilling clinical duties.
Responsibilities:
Offers services for coordinating multidisciplinary teams within designated areas. Offers mentoring to Cone Health residents and other students as required.
Offers autonomous decision-making in the diagnosis and management of patients, development of treatment strategies, and oversight of the interdisciplinary team (advanced practice providers) in fulfilling patient care objectives.
Demonstrates and complies with the established professional guidelines of MCHS, encompassing the Medical Staff By-Laws, commitments to Service Excellence, operational protocols, expectations for physicians, and standards for professional demeanor.
Takes part in medical evaluations, quality enhancement initiatives, investigations, peer assessments, and other examinations concerning professional care standards. Actively seeks enhancements and implements evidence-based methodologies to advance healthcare and service quality, aiming for outcomes in the 90th percentile or higher.
Adhere to MCHS policies, along with relevant laws and regulations, when keeping records.
Shares particular on-call duties as required with fellow physicians in the designated areas.
