Overview:
The primary role of the Practice Administrator I involves managing the functioning and well-being of 1-4 practices or 8-25 healthcare providers within the same region or specialty group. This position requires overseeing site leadership and ensuring that the Practice is meeting its performance targets and financial metrics.
Responsibilities:
Boosts patient satisfaction and practice revenue by refining provider templates, resolving impediments to provider productivity, and improving patient-facing time to ensure maximum access availability and volumes.
Ensures standard staffing levels are met, encourages teamwork, and empowers teams to address daily challenges and obstacles. Works with the Director to hire providers and promptly address any issues related to them.
Collaborates with the Director and healthcare providers on provider contracts, showcasing an in-depth grasp of the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) and how it affects reimbursement and compensation, ultimately elevating provider relationships and practice profitability.
Oversees adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within business units to maintain a high level of patient care and operational proficiency.
Directs TNM results for each unit, developing process indicators with site managers to track daily TNM advancements, and promptly adjusts procedures and protocols to address any delays in metrics, guaranteeing sustained enhancements in patient care and operational efficiency.
Works towards achieving financial milestones in business units by consistently evaluating financial data, implementing necessary interventions for discrepancies, overseeing proper financial protocols including cash handling, invoicing, coding, and revenue cycle management, and taking responsibility for revenue cycle outcomes through actions focused on improving revenue and accounts receivable.
Engages in further assignments as needed.
