Job Description
Overview:
The RN Capacity Strategist works collaboratively with nurse managers and schedulers to forecast demand, adjust staffing levels, and optimize the use of resources to enhance patient care quality. By monitoring performance indicators, introducing enhancements, and ensuring regulatory adherence, they play a key role in maintaining a well-staffed and effective healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the operations at the Central Capacity Center (CCC) and acts as the administrative liaison.
Acts as a central contact point for the Administrator on-call (AOD) to reach out to when necessary.
Offers autonomous crisis management to guarantee compliance with organization-wide protocols for handling emergencies.
Analyzing regulations and creating decisions promptly that have a direct impact on patient welfare.
Works together with doctors, nurses, and support personnel to address clinical and operational challenges.
Hospitalists work alongside teams in a co-management structure to enhance communication and streamline patient flow.
Coordinates and oversees numerous organization-wide daily briefings, held regularly even on weekends and holidays.
Addresses and takes action to resolve any issues or complaints raised by employees, bringing them to the attention of relevant SW leaders if necessary.
Evaluates, looks into, and addresses safety and behavioral issues.
Acts as a guide for rules, regulations, and operational challenges.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 7+ years of experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
RN licensure to practice in the state of NC
