Overview
As a Supervisor Clinical Registered Nurse (RN), one must manage and coordinate the tasks of lower-level employees involved in patient care. This position also involves overseeing processes, evaluating patient outcomes, and monitoring care quality metrics.
Responsibilities
- Directs and supervises the tasks of entry-level employees involved in delivering patient care services, with an emphasis on maintaining quality standards and meeting regulatory protocols.
- Directs the alignment of patient care services to facilitate continuous care provision and patient happiness.
- Monitors the process of delivering patient care to uphold high standards of care and ensure the safety of patients.
- Assesses patient outcomes and quality care metrics to inform improvements and maintain exceptional service delivery.
- Administers patient care services and offers counsel to promote informed decision-making and achieve optimal patient results.
- Undertakes different assignments as instructed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:Required: Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
EXPERIENCE:Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
