Job Description
Overview:
The Home Healthcare Continuous Care Nurse Assistant International Float works alongside the assessment of patient care needs to deliver complete home healthcare services. Operating independently in typical situations, this position manages patient care responsibilities, monitors vital signs, dispenses medications, and assists with daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates efforts with patient care evaluation to deliver exceptional and tailored home healthcare services.
- To uphold precise and comprehensive documentation in home healthcare activities, it is important to track processes and procedures diligently.
- Recommending improvements or new strategies to foster the enhancement of home healthcare services.
- Assists with diverse tasks in the realm of home healthcare to offer crucial aid and support to healthcare practitioners.
- Maintains precise records of patient care tasks and activities, documenting reports for reference and compliance.
- Completes any other assigned obligations.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
High school graduate or equivalent and completion of a state approved Nurse Aide 1 training
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
One year experience as a nursing assistant
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Successfully complete BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire date.
Current good standing with the NC Nurse Aide Registry verified through DFS - https://www.ncnar.org/verify_listings1.jsp
Must have reliable transportation with adequate insurance as determined by the organization.
Valid NC Driver's License and current automobile insurance
