The Mobility Specialist plays a crucial role in organizing secure patient care centered on movement in partnership with fellow healthcare professionals. Operating under close guidance, this position aids patients in tasks related to mobility and keeps track of their physiological condition to deliver top-notch customer care.
Responsibilities:
Supports patients in performing mobility tasks such as transitioning from bed, moving between locations, and walking to aid the care plan and enhance mobility.
Records and tracks physiological variations in individuals to inform nurses and modify tasks accordingly.
Assists in creating a successful mobility initiative by working together with individuals from the nursing and rehabilitation sectors.
Raises concerns regarding equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues to guarantee efficient supply operation for prompt patient treatment.
Effectively communicating with patients and their families is essential to convey information and enhance client contentment.
Carries out additional tasks as requested.
