Overview:
The Registered Nurse Float position offers a flexible nursing coverage service that caters to various units and departments. The RN Float collaborates with different healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, guaranteeing seamless transitions, and maintaining quality standards in diverse clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
Exhibits skillful proficiency in transitioning between different nursing departments, providing comprehensive care and support to meet the unique needs of all patients.
Collaborates with diverse teams, medical experts, and support personnel to provide patient-centric care and improve communication standards across units.
Performs detailed evaluations to recognize patients' conditions and demands, formulating personalized care strategies that are specific to their individual diagnoses and medical histories.
Nurses must react quickly to emergencies and critical situations by offering immediate care and support to stabilize patients.
With deep expertise in bed allocation and capacity management, expertly manages patient flow through the medical center, facilitating patient placements, admissions, and transfers as needed.
Executes any other duties as instructed.
