Job Description
In this position, the primary responsibility is to oversee the activities of HIM Imaging Specialists to guarantee the accurate and prompt processing of documentation, operating under minimal supervision.
Essential Job Function:
- Oversees the workflow and timetable for all Health Information Management (HIM) Imaging Specialists.
- Helps educate others on the appropriate HIM practices and guidelines.
- Conducts quality assessments on HIM documentation to guarantee the correctness of information and data provided.
- Supports in the orientation and growth of fresh recruits within the division.
- Manages documentation of concerns and feedback received from customers and employees, aiding in resolving them with colleagues.
- Distributes assignments, evaluates the standard of work, and delivers input to newly recruited employees.
- Aids in the instruction and growth of recently onboarded employees to strengthen their expertise in the field.
- Executes tasks as directed.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Required: at least 1 year of scanning experience. Preferred: 2+ years of office experience.
