Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing excellent patient care and achieving favorable patient results by applying nursing expertise with compassion and effectiveness. Operating with overall guidance, this position advances professional nursing standards by managing patient care using the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Examines the requirements and health status of patients in the designated unit to provide appropriate nursing interventions and guarantee that each individual receives personalized care.
Examines patient data, such as medical background, test findings, and present state, to create personalized nursing care strategies.
Administers nursing procedures like dispensing medication and implementing therapies to deliver thorough and efficient patient support.
Ensures that medical records are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies for accuracy and compliance.
Assessing how patients react to treatments and recognizing any further actions required to achieve specific care objectives.
Works together with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to guarantee efficient coordination of care planning.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
- 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
