The Registered Nurse RN Float position emphasizes the importance of being able to provide flexible nursing coverage across different units and departments as needed. Responsibilities:
Skillfully moves between different nursing environments and departments to deliver comprehensive care and aid for various medical scenarios.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, doctors, and assistants to deliver patient-focused care and facilitate communication flow across different units.
Performs comprehensive evaluations of patient's health status and requirements, customizing treatment strategies according to specific diagnoses and individual medical backgrounds.
Provides prompt nursing care and assistance in emergencies and critical situations to stabilize patients efficiently.
Supports in arranging patient placements, admissions, and transfers by applying knowledge of bed distribution and capacity management to maintain optimal patient movement within the healthcare setting.
Carries out extra tasks as handed over.
