Job Description
The role of the Rapid Response Registered Nurse RN involves administering immediate and specialized healthcare to individuals experiencing urgent or critical medical issues. With general guidance, this position assists in the quick and suitable management of medical emergencies.
Essential Job Function:
- Reacting to health crises and administering immediate medical aid to individuals to secure that they obtain timely and suitable care in urgent situations.
- Evaluates the condition of patients and offers swift responses to interventions to secure the provision of high-quality care tailored to their individual needs and medical situations.
- Compiles patient care paperwork to ensure precise documentation and maintenance of patient records.
- Evaluates the policies and procedures relevant to patient well-being and safety to verify that patient care is administered in adherence to all legal requirements and organizational guidelines.
- Consulting senior management for advice on managing fast-paced scenarios that necessitate a greater level of insight.
- Oversees and assesses the tasks of junior professionals participating in prompt intervention for the provision of excellent care.
- Carry out any other assigned responsibilities.
Education:
- Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience:
- Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse and 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider ACLS or NIH certification.
