Assessing and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing, and cognitive challenges are part of the Speech Language Pathologist II's job responsibilities. This role involves effectively addressing the needs of patients within a clinical practice and carrying out speech language pathology duties with minimal supervision. While adept at independent practice, this therapist may require support in complex scenarios and face difficulties when switching between different work environments. They take the initiative to foster collaboration among team members, provide competent care to familiar patients, and advocate for the best interests of their patients and team.
