EDUCATION:
The achievement of an Associate's Degree in Nursing is indispensable for individuals looking to enter the healthcare profession as registered nurses
A Nursing Bachelor's Degree is the top choice for those pursuing a career in healthcare
EXPERIENCE:
The mandatory experience needed is one year in the capacity of a Registered Nurse
Desired: Completion of a one-year clinical specialty program recognized by ANCC or national nursing associations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Being licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or any state under the Compact agreement streamlines the process for nurses to practice in various locations
- The American Red Cross or the American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider programs deliver BLS training focusing on CPR skills
