Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacist III Ambulatory Retail Specialty is employed in a distinct ambulatory or community pharmacy setting. Operating with limited oversight, this position delivers patient services within their area of expertise, interacts with healthcare providers, pharmacy personnel, and may oversee patient advocates and/or pharmacy technicians.
Responsibilities:
Implements and adheres to medical directives to administer appropriate treatment to the designated individual.
Furnishes and oversees drug employment and medication-linked details to healthcare providers, patients, and the general population.
Oversees and assesses the performance of pharmacy technicians.
Offers guidance to students and interns.
Works at an advanced level of expertise and proficiency, focusing primarily on handling intricate scenarios or participating in efforts to enhance projects.
Carries out additional responsibilities as required.
