- Oversees intricate instrumentation and testing systems, documenting necessary interventions before submitting test outcomes to ensure their dependability.
- Gives precedence to responsibilities and oversees workload distribution to adhere to designated laboratory completion targets for effective patient health management.
- Remains updated on yearly competencies, ongoing educational tasks, and regulatory guidelines to guarantee alignment with safety and compliance policies.
- Utilizes resources efficiently and plays a proactive role in overseeing inventory levels to ensure a cost-efficient and well-provisioned laboratory.
- Carries out supplementary responsibilities as instructed.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science.
Experience
- Preferred: Six months experience as a technical generalist
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Must have Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) pr Specialist in Blood Bank (SBB) or Technologist in Blood Banking (BB) or Technologist in Chemistry (C) or Technologist in Hematology (H) or Technologist in Microbiology (M) or Specialist in Microbiology (SM) by ASCP or AMT certification.
