Essential Job Function:
- Takes in and documents requests, handles phone inquiries, and distributes prescriptions to facilitate the smooth running of pharmacy operations.
- Aids in the upkeep of inventory.
- Functions as a resource for other pharmacy tech professionals.
- Aids in mentoring new hires through the onboarding and learning procedures.
- Leads the way in implementing improvements to departmental processes and quality programs.
- Ensures high-quality service is delivered to each patient.
- Completes tasks as delegated.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Required: 2 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Pharmacy Technician certification through PTCB or NHA prior to hire. Registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
