Different shifts and timetables are open for the Emergency Departments situated at:

  • Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro offers full-time positions with various shift options, including 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., as well as part-time roles and relief/PRN opportunities
  • Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro offers full-time positions with day or night shifts lasting 12 hours or part-time roles with overnight hours
  • MedCenter in Greensboro is looking to fill full-time positions with varying shifts, including 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. There are also part-time opportunities available with a shift from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as well as relief/PRN options
  • MedCenter at High Point offers full-time positions for the night shift from 7 pm to 7 am, as well as part-time roles available for shifts starting at 1 pm and ending at 1 am or 11 am to 11 pm

Responsibilities:

Patients are assisted in daily activities such as eating, personal grooming, and increasing physical mobility to aid in their recuperation and treatment strategy.

Evaluates patient's overall well-being concerning food intake, fluid consumption, and waste removal to allocate support efficiently and forecast upcoming requirements.

Processes, relocates, and releases patients to ensure they are transferred to suitable destinations according to the care plan.

Assists in medical procedures such as tracking blood sugar levels, documenting essential measurements, performing electrocardiograms, implementing limitations, and tending to bathroom requirements to ensure patients receive adequate and pleasant medical attention.

Assisting in the management of unit stock levels for supplies and medical devices is crucial for upholding a hygienic and secure setting in alignment with the National Patient Safety Goals.

Verifying that patients at risk of falling possess the correct wristbands, socks, and indicators to promote their physical well-being.

Assists in recording all medical procedures, patient engagements, and drug administration to uphold a comprehensive patient record.

Responds quickly to assignments from the nursing team and communicates patient assessments effectively to promote teamwork and productivity.

Carries out additional tasks as necessary or designated.

Required:

Nurse Aide Certification required by State of North Carolina DHHR. BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
