Overview:
The responsibility of the Nursing Technician Float is to offer assistance in various departments and units whenever necessary. This position requires collaborating with nurses and medical staff to ensure the provision of excellent healthcare services to patients while under close supervision.
Responsibilities:
Help medical staff by supporting them in administering direct patient care, like monitoring essential signs, gathering samples, and aiding with daily routines.
Secures a clean and safe patient atmosphere by overseeing the implementation of correct infection control protocols, restocking supplies, and organizing patient spaces.
Ensures the precise and timely documentation of patient information into electronic medical records, encompassing vital signs, administered medications, and observations.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure that patient care is well-coordinated and communicated effectively, which involves communicating any variations in the patient's condition to the relevant staff.
Attends regular training sessions and professional development activities to advance understanding and competency in patient care techniques.
Complies with all company policies, practices, and methodologies to uphold regulatory benchmarks and advance patient well-being.
