Overview:
The role of a Diag Rad and CT Technologist WEO encompasses delivering excellent medical care to patients who undergo CT procedures with the aid of standardized workflows and procedural protocols. While working under close supervision, the Diag Rad and CT Technologist uses advanced computerized x-ray machines to capture cross-sectional images of the bodily anatomy. These images are instrumental in aiding radiologists to determine and treat various diseases and conditions. One unique feature of this role is the weekend option that requires the staff member to adhere to WEO requirements and fulfill two shifts within the designated window for increased compensation.
Responsibilities:
Utilizes head or body X-ray scanners to generate a cross-sectional image using computer technology, typically referred to as a CAT scan.
Conducts both routine and specialized CT examinations while following established protocols to minimize additional imaging and reduce radiation exposure, ensuring that the examination productivity is maintained within the set benchmarks.
Without errors, the assistant completes all assessments and records in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and identifies all fees connected with tests, facilitating smooth workflow.
Improves patient knowledge and compliance during testing by educating and preparing them adequately, leading to a better testing experience and outcome.
The individual displays a firm dedication to safe and secure practices, adopting the Just Culture, and implementing ALARA principles for better patient outcomes.
Executes additional responsibilities as directed.

BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
