Job Description
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care within a clinic setting. Under close supervision, the RN works collaboratively with physicians or APP providers to maintain an efficient and safe clinic environment by following established clinical protocols and processes. This role also includes performing administrative tasks as needed, such as reconciling information across patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function
- Evaluates clinical procedures, protocols, and practices to ensure they align with organizational standards and meet regulatory requirements.
- Delivers direct patient care by performing thorough assessments, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient conditions to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
- Mentors and evaluates the work of junior staff, offering guidance, feedback, and support to promote high-quality care and foster professional growth.
- Works with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, enhance communication, and ensure seamless continuity of care across various healthcare settings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
