Job Description
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and utilizing nursing expertise to ensure effective medical care and positive patient outcomes on a per diem basis. Under close supervision, this position involves working collaboratively with the healthcare team and consulting experienced medical professionals to address challenging circumstances to ensure excellent patient care during specified daily shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Aids in undertaking patient appraisals, check-ups, and therapies to contribute to comprehensive and personalized patient treatment every day.
- Supports the interpretation of patient data to steer medical judgments, therapy blueprints, and measures.
- Participates in executing specified medical interventions and treatments to ensure adherence to guidelines and maintain the safety of the patient.
- Supports the coordination of care and communication among different healthcare team members to advance patient outcomes.
- Consults with experienced medical professionals for recommendations and advice on intricate patient scenarios and difficult healthcare situations to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Completes supplementary assignments as instructed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:Required:
1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state;
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
