Job Description
In the capacity of a Registered Nurse (RN), the individual delivers exceptional patient care and ensures advantageous patient outcomes by utilizing nursing expertise with care and timeliness. With general oversight, this role advances the cause of professional nursing practices through the organization of patient care using the nursing process and collaboration among different fields.
Essential Job Function:
- Examines patient needs and situations to provide nursing care within the specific unit, ensuring each patient is attended to properly and receives the required care.
- Analyzes patient data, which includes medical records, diagnostic results, and existing state, to create personalized nursing care strategies.
- Designs nursing processes involving medication administration and treatments to provide holistic and efficient patient care.
- Ensures that medical records align with regulatory standards and organizational policies to maintain compliance.
- Monitoring patient feedback to interventions and identifying any supplementary interventions necessary to achieve established care objectives.
- Utilizes interdisciplinary teamwork to enhance the effectiveness of care plans.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
