Job Description
Overview:
As a Clinical Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN), the individual is responsible for overseeing patient care tasks and the staff involved in carrying them out. This role includes coordinating care activities, managing operational processes, and evaluating patient outcomes and care quality measures.
Responsibilities:
- Directs and manages the responsibilities of entry-level workers responsible for patient care duties, ensuring they follow prescribed quality measures and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Directs the alignment of patient care services to promote continuous care delivery and enhance patient happiness.
- Takes charge of the patient care delivery process to uphold excellence in care and patient safety.
- Reviews the analysis of patient performance and quality measures to steer enhancements and ensure the delivery of superior service.
- Oversees patient care services and gives suggestions to encourage informed decision-making and enhance patient outcomes.
- Undertakes supplementary duties as instructed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
