Essential Job Function
- Undertakes physical examinations of patients, assesses their medical records, and understands the outcomes of diagnostic tests to deliver appropriate healthcare interventions.
- Offers proactive healthcare by performing preventive health screenings that align with the patient's age, medical history, and distinct health needs.
- Informs patients and their loved ones about healthcare conditions, therapy plans, and aftercare processes.
- (records all patient care to verify precision of patient history.).
- Implements healthcare procedures based on departmental standards and clinical obligations.
- Determines strategies for advancing patient care through the evaluation and resolution of clinical and system-related issues.
- Carries out any other assigned responsibilities.
Education
- Required: Master's degree Nursing or master's degree, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or PA-C with Board Certification.
Experience
- Preferred: 1-3 years as advanced practice provider.
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Valid NC RN and NP license or PA-C license.
