Overview:
A Nursing Technician Float is accountable for conducting tasks in a range of departments and wards based on requirements. This role assists nurses and medical staff in furnishing exceptional healthcare services to patients under close supervision.
Responsibilities:
Assist nurses and medical personnel in administering hands-on patient care, which may involve measuring vital signs, procuring samples, and supporting daily living activities.
Creates a tidy and secure environment for patients by guaranteeing adherence to infection control procedures, restocking necessary items, and arranging patient spaces effectively.
Maintains accurate and timely electronic medical records by documenting patient details efficiently, such as vital signs, medications dispensed, and observations made.
Partners with the healthcare team to ensure clear communication and seamless coordination of patient care, which involves communicating any adjustments in the patient's condition to the appropriate staff.
Takes part in continuous education and development programs to upgrade knowledge and abilities related to patient care techniques and procedures.
Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines to uphold regulatory standards and safeguard patient welfare.
