Overview:
To provide compassionate care and ensure positive patient outcomes, an RN must have a deep understanding of nursing practices. This role operates under general supervision, promoting excellence in nursing through the coordination of multidisciplinary patient care.
Responsibilities:
Nursing care must be provided according to individualized patient needs and conditions, which are evaluated before care is delivered on the assigned unit.
Develops nursing care plans that incorporate patients' medical history and diagnostic reports to provide highly individualized care.
Carries out nursing procedures, such as administering medications and facilitating corrective treatments to deliver wholesome patient treatment.
Examines healthcare records to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry and organizational requirements.
Analyses patient response to interventions and identifies additional measures needed to meet defined care objectives.
Cooperates with the care team to create a well-coordinated plan for patient care.
Carries out extra duties as allocated.
