Job Description
Overview:
In the role of RN Per Diem, the individual provides exceptional patient care and utilizes nursing knowledge to promote effective medical care and positive patient results on an as-needed basis. Working closely with supervision, this position collaborates with the healthcare team and looks toward senior medical professionals for guidance in addressing complex situations to ensure optimal patient care on specified daily shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in facilitating patient assessments, check-ups, and therapies to contribute to personalized and thorough patient care on a day-to-day basis.
- Backs the evaluation of patient data to steer medical judgments, treatment schemes, and actions.
- Assists in implementing specified medical interventions and treatments to ensure strict adherence to protocols and prioritize the safety of patients.
- Partners with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote effective communication and coordination of care for improved patient well-being.
- Solicits guidance and counsel from experienced medical professionals concerning complex patient situations and challenging healthcare conditions to promote optimal patient well-being.
- Undertakes any other assigned obligations.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
