Essential Job Function
- Carries out patient evaluations in a non-hospital environment, assesses their medical records, and interprets outcomes of diagnostic examinations to offer suitable therapy for the individual.
- Administers proactive health screenings that are customized according to the patient's age, medical history, and distinct health necessities.
- - Offers education to patients and their families on health conditions, interventions, and aftercare.
- - Manages patient care records in multiple primary care settings to uphold accurate patient medical records.
- Conducts healthcare treatments according to the standards and responsibilities outlined by the facility in ambulatory care settings.
- To boost outpatient services, it is essential to analyze, troubleshoot, and assess clinical and systemic matters effectively.
- Executes tasks that are delegated.
Education
- Required: Master Degree Nursing or Master Degree Physician Assistant studies. Physician Assistant employed at Cone Health prior to October 14, 2024 with a Bachelor Degree will have the Master Degree requirement waived provided they have maintained employment and PA licensure with Board Certification.
Experience
- Required: None Preferred: 3+ years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA licenseBoard Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare ProviderNeonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) Certification required for Neonatal Advanced Practice ProvidersIVC Certified within 90 days of employment for Behavorial Health Advance Practice Provider
