Job Description
Operating with moderate oversight, the Application Analyst Intermediate assists in enhancing the functionality of intricate clinical and/or business applications by offering technical support tailored to meet the organization's objectives. By evaluating user needs and executing solutions, this role ensures the optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of clinical and/or business applications. After completing three months of initial in-person training, the position will adopt a hybrid working arrangement, with a general requirement of two office attendance days that might be adjusted to three depending on project requirements.
Essential Job Function:
- Works together with both internal and external technical experts and end user communities to verify that the organization's clinical and business needs are addressed in the development and execution of applications and external systems.
- Undertakes detailed scrutiny of workflow processes within end user departments, data gathering methods, report specifics, and other technical concerns affecting design and construction choices, alongside performing advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis on the collated data and information during the process of collecting application requirements.
- Translates the practical and healthcare elements into software arrangement and operations.
- Creates and runs test scripts to conduct application testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Compiles test findings, project blueprints, alteration management, software glitches, and in-house methodologies following departmental norms.
- Responsible for supporting complex applications through troubleshooting, monitoring system efficiency, data quality, and overall operational integrity, and effectively escalating any identified issues for resolution.
- Keeps abreast of new technical theories and solutions, and how they can be utilized in the context of healthcare.
- Provides assistance in integrating and maintaining external systems.
- Possesses the adequate experience and skills to ensure smooth integration of every component of the application with the organization's other cross-functional applications.
- Executes any other responsibilities given.
- Thorough familiarity with Workday Supply Chain applications is a prerequisite, encompassing expertise in EIB functions, Mass Maintain functions, and familiarity with handheld devices and printers.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
Experience
- Required: 2 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Clinical employees must maintain licensure appropriate to clinical education and training, without lapse. For Cone HealthLink (CHL) / Epic applications, must satisfactorily complete required Epic certification testing within the timeframe specified in the Epic Certification commitment policy.
