Job Description
Overview:
The RN role entails delivering excellent patient care and achieving favorable patient outcomes by utilizing nursing skills with compassion and efficiency. Responsibilities:
The nursing team reviews patient's conditions and requirements to administer appropriate care on their assigned unit, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care.
To create nursing care plans that cater to individual patient needs, analyzing patient data like medical history, current condition, and diagnostic results is fundamental.
To deliver efficient and effective medical attention, a range of nursing procedures, including treatment and medication administration, are implemented.
Scrutinizes medical records to verify their precision and compliance with both regulatory standards and organizational practices.
Determines how the patient reacts to treatments and gauges the necessity for further interventions required to attain the established care objectives.
Leverages the expertise of interdisciplinary care team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Executes additional responsibilities as directed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
- 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
