Job Description
APP Relief's primary focus is to deliver high-quality, economical healthcare that is customized to individual patient needs, involving tasks such as patient assessment, interpretation of test outcomes, and the formulation and execution of treatment plans to cater to patient needs. Operating in tandem with physician(s), this job includes educating patients and their families about medical ailments and treatment options, offering services on a per diem basis for short-term or on-demand periods.
Essential Job Function:
- Undertakes patient assessments through physical exams, examines their medical records, and interprets the findings of diagnostic evaluations to administer suitable therapy.
- Administers preventive health screenings tailored to the patient's age, medical history, and distinct healthcare needs for proactive health maintenance.
- Provides education to patients and their loved ones on health conditions, therapies, and aftercare measures.
- Recording all patient care activities to maintain the accuracy of patient histories.
- Executes healthcare procedures based on the guidelines set by the department and assigned clinical duties.
- Enhances patient care by addressing clinical and systemic concerns through the process of evaluation, problem-solving, and assessment.
- Executes tasks as delegated.
Education:
- Required: Master's degree Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or PA-C, board certification.
Experience:
- Required: 3+ years
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Valid NC RN, NCBON NP, PMHNP, board certification.
