Overview:
In this position, maintaining regulatory and professional standards, as well as exercising strong decision-making abilities, are critical duties. Direct interactions with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and medical staff are essential to ensure efficient and patient-focused service delivery. Radiologic Technologists in this role are responsible for conducting MR procedures in accordance with approved workflows and procedural protocols, while displaying full knowledge of MR equipment, and administering contrast media authorized by Radiology department protocols. Additionally, they must complete competencies through the Radiology department.
Responsibilites:
Undertakes both standard and unique exams as per established standards in order to mitigate redundancy in testing. Achieves examination efficiency within benchmark limits.
Undoubtedly skillful in the precise identification and documentation of all study-related fees.
Dedicates themselves to promoting safe practices and advocating for Just Culture, strictly adhering to Two for Two protocols for accurate patient identification, implementing preventive measures to avoid falls and laterality errors, and prioritizing the application of ALARA principles to reduce radiation exposure.
Through service recovery measures, the customer service team was able to turn a negative experience into a positive one, addressing the customer's concerns and ensuring their needs were met.
Offers help in moving patients to and from different places.
Qualifications:
Secondary education certification or its similar degree is a mandatory prerequisite
A professional who possesses academic qualifications in Radiology, Imaging or a related domain.

Both the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association’s BLS courses provide certification that is valid for two years
MRI technologists must have and continuously maintain ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) credentials to practice their profession.
