Job Description
Overview:
The Diag Rad and CT Technologist WEO carries out the duty of delivering excellent patient care throughout CT scans by following set workflows and procedural guidelines. With supervision, this job involves utilizing specialized x-ray machinery to create detailed images of the body's internal structures. These images are crucial for radiologists to detect various illnesses and conditions accurately. The weekend option of this position mandates adherence to WEO stipulations, entailing working two shifts within the designated weekend window for extra compensation.
Responsibilities:
Utilizes head or body x-ray machines to produce a computer-generated cross-sectional image known as a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan.
Conducts regular and specific CT scans following set guidelines to reduce extra imaging and control radiation exposure, while also ensuring exam efficiency stays within predetermined standards.
Successfully finishes all tests and paperwork related to Computerized Health Information (CHI) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), correctly recognizing all fees linked with examinations and rectifying any mistakes to ensure smooth operations.
Educating and readying patients for their exams in order to improve patient comprehension and compliance during procedures and encourage a favorable patient encounter.
Shows dedication to implementing safe procedures, a fair culture, and ALARA principles to prevent mistakes and improve patient results.
Carries out additional tasks as required.

Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Will accept any of the following licenses:
ARRT: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT)
NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT)
Combination of ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT) or CNMT and ARRT(CT)
Combination of ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT) or ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT)
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
