Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers superior patient care and ensures beneficial patient outcomes through the empathetic and efficient use of nursing expertise. Operating with general direction, this role supports professional nursing practice by organizing patient care through the nursing process and collaboration with multiple disciplines.
Essential Job Function:
- Analyzes patient needs and health conditions on the assigned unit to offer personalized nursing care that ensures the provision of essential support to every individual.
- Reviews patient details, including health records, test results, and current health status, to formulate customized nursing care plans.
- Implements nursing processes such as medication delivery and therapies to offer comprehensive and impactful patient assistance.
- Checks medical records for correctness and ensures they adhere to regulatory standards and organizational guidelines.
- Assessing the patient's reaction to interventions and pinpointing any extra measures necessary to achieve the defined care targets.
- Cooperates with a varied healthcare team to develop cohesive care plans.
- Executes miscellaneous assignments as given.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
