Philanthropy Specialist Database

The primary role of the Philanthropy Specialist Database is to manage databases, reports, gift administration, and maintain the precision, authenticity, and privacy of the donor database that supports Cone Health's Philanthropic Foundations and related aims, endeavors, and outcomes.

Essential Job Function:

• Aids in the organization and management of operational activities linked to donor database administration and gift handling, facilitating the day-to-day operations and safeguarding data accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency in all philanthropy-related platforms.
• Aids in fostering strategic methods that boost database utilization and reporting functions, ensuring alignment of data operations with the organization's mission, objectives, and philanthropic targets.
• Partners with program staff and internal associates, which may comprise physicians, nurses, administrative team members, and philanthropic experts, to validate the precise documentation of donor interactions, contributions, and engagement initiatives, facilitating a harmonious workflow that advances fundraising efforts and stewardship objectives.
• Develops and supervises program finances associated with database tools, reporting platforms, and data-focused endeavors, aiming for efficient resource allocation and continuous monitoring of financial progress to back cost-efficient and mission-congruent database activities.
• Builds and preserves robust relationships with both internal and external parties, like clinical teams, leaders within departments, community associates, and technology providers, with the goal of reinforcing data governance, simplifying reporting mechanisms, and improving nonprofit comprehension and effectiveness.
• Manages the proper implementation of database-centric projects and operations, including processing donations, generating reports, conducting data checks, and integrating systems, all while upholding organizational regulations, data security protocols, and best practices in the field.
• Delivers routine briefs to senior executives, outlining data trends, reporting results, system operation, issues, and suggested remedies, while maintaining open and honest communication about the implications of fundraising data within the organization.
• Executes any other responsibilities given.

Education

• Required: Bachelor s Degree in a related field

Experience

• Required: 3 Years of experience.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Excel.
