Job Description
In the role of congregational nurse manager, the individual oversees a team of seasoned RNs to ensure the provision of excellent nursing care. This position requires overseeing the enforcement of policies and strategies to achieve short-term objectives and steering the implementation of crucial divisional, departmental, or interdisciplinary efforts.
Essential Job Function:
- Supervises a team of skilled RN's to uphold the standard of care offered.
- Guides the implementation of crucial divisional, departmental, or collaborative endeavors, setting precise benchmarks, objectives, and anticipations for efficient communication and completion.
- Leads the team in formulating and executing methods that comply with organizational regulations and recommended approaches.
- Embraces opportunities and proposals for better practices, utilizing expertise and understanding to maximize outcomes and effectiveness.
- Executes any other responsibilities as delegated.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 5 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations. Community Health experience valuable.
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
