Job Description
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. Working under close supervision, this role collaborates with physicians or APP providers to ensure an efficient and safe clinic environment is promoted through well-defined clinical processes and an adherence to established protocols. The Clinic RN will also perform administrative work as needed, such as reconciling information across various healthcare documents, including patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function:
- Inspects clinical procedures, protocols, and practices to verify compliance with internal guidelines and statutory obligations.
- Provides direct patient care; conducts comprehensive assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Manages and critiques the work of entry-level professionals, offering guidance, feedback, and assistance to ensure exceptional care provision and career development.
- Collaborates with diverse teams to harmonize patient care, facilitate communication, and support seamless care across varied healthcare settings.
- Undertakes extra tasks as assigned.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
