Overview:
As a key player in the healthcare landscape, the Mobile Integrated Health Community Paramedic (MIH/CP) is essential for delivering optimal care in the right manner and at the right time and location. The MIH/CP possesses the clinical expertise necessary to conduct medical evaluations, treatments, and stabilization procedures while closely supervised by medical professionals. Engaging in planned and emergency visits at the request of the Hospital at Home team, the MIH/CP operates under the medical oversight and direction of the Hospital at Home provider. Proficiency in independently performing medical interventions like initiating IV access, drawing blood, and administering medications is a core component of the MIH/CP role. Furthermore, the MIH/CP fosters care continuity by communicating with patients' healthcare providers and other healthcare team members.

EXPERIENCE:
Required:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a 911, community paramedicine or acute healthcare setting.
Strong clinical/procedural skills required.
Must be deemed competent by Health at Home Medical Director and the Cone Health MIH/CP onboarding and release to practice standard
